TML-NET is our original data acquisition network to perform measurement control and data transfer as well as power supply using two-wire cable. Commands and data are transferred on the network with clock signal, and bidirectional communication is possible. Network modules are placed near sensors such as strain gauge, DC voltage source and thermocouple, and measured data are converted into digital form by the network mudules. The network modules transmit those digitized data through the network, and the data are received by a data logger via a network driver which is connected to the network. It is also possible that a PC to directly receive data from the network by connecting a network interface to the network. Unlike ordinary analog measurement system, there is no sensitivity drop due to influence of cable extension and insulation lowering. Therefore, long term stable measurement is acheived. The TML-NET is also available in 4-wire system, in which two wires are used for data transfer while another two wires are used for power supply. In addition, the use of a network handheld strainmeter makes on-site data acquisition and checking possible.

A
module that counts precipitation, flow rate, quantity, number of vehicles that
pass by, frequency of machine operation, and other information with no-voltage
contact or open collector input.
A built-in backup battery allows to continue counting even when the power
supply is not available.

Note: The counter module NSW-01CC is not a low-consumption type, but four units of NSW-01CC can be connected when 100 units are connected, and the total length is 2,000 m.

NDR-100 is a network module driving interface. It connects to the ASW/SSW converter box extension cable system, and the converter box connects to the TDS data recorder.

The NIF-100 is a driver interface used to drive each network module directly from a personal computer, without using a data logger.

The TC-35N is a handheld instrument which captures and processes the digitized strain data from network modules. It can be used for checking the system on site and/or constructing a small measurement system.
By adopting low-consumption type network modules, number of connectable modules and extending distance of modules are enlarged drastically and construction of a comparatively larger measurement system is easily enabled.

The monitoring system makes flexible use of TML-NET measurement system. The system consists of controller, network modules and TML-NET compatible transducers. The controller MD-111 controls the network modules and the transducers at specified intervals and stores measurement data in SD card. It is suitable for installation in an instrument storage box or cabinet, and is equipped with input/output contacts. Accordingly, it is most suited for making a measurement system of small scale.

This is a strain gauge based transducer with a built-in network module. It is connected to a network driver NDR-100, and the NDR-100 is connected to a data logger for data transmission. Connection between the transducer and the NDR-100 is available using an exclusive two-core cable since the data transmission is made in degital form. Additional TML-NET compatible transducers can be cascaded using the two-core cable.

Protects network measuring system TML-NET from induced lighting. In lighting-prone areas, the induced voltage of lighting traveling through the cables of measuring instruments or network modules can damage network drivers and network modules on the network.
When this unit is connected at both ends of the extended network line, it automatically separates the network line when instruments enter standby, to block induced current on the line from lighting and protect networked drivers and modules.
